Membership Fees for 2010

Membership fees for 2010 were confirmed at the AGM held in December. The fees for this year are:
£45 for Membership - includes a basic listing on the website and on
the printed accommodation list.
£80 for Enhanced Membership - as for a basic membership but
includes additional interior photographs and an updated availability chart on the website.
£60 for a Members Webpage - this is a one-off fee to set up a webpage including photographs and text.

Additional Services

ALBA VIRTUAL TOURS

Discover Tiree are able to offer members an exciting additional service to promote their accommodation or business.

We have secured the services of ALBA VIRTUAL TOURS, based in Lochearnhead, who specialise in the use of 360 degree interior and exterior panoramas and still photography to advertise holiday accommodation or businesses.

They are offering the following service to Discover Tiree members:
Alba would visit Tiree in the spring of 2010 to produce exterior or interior 360 degree panoramas for Discover Tiree members. These panoramas would be available from a link on the members pop-up listing. Panoramas show an all-round view of a location or a room.

For accommodation providers this could be  panoramas of  the house showing the views and a room or rooms with a brief title – such as ‘sitting room’ or ‘double bedroom’. For businesses this could be panoramas of the exterior of the business showing its location and interior retail space or spaces. The panoramas would be in addition to the photographs
currently used on each listing.

The island website currently has a number of exterior panoramas taken in different locations around the island – and this dynamic way of showing locations, views, rooms and retail spaces is becoming increasingly popular with holiday destinations and accommodation providers.

Discover Tiree has negotiated a special price for this service to members:

IF UP TO 9 MEMBERS ARE INTERESTED IN THIS SERVICE
the charge would be £25 per 360 degree panorama – interior or exterior

Based on this option if a member decides to go ahead and goes for 3 panoramas consisting of an outside view and 2 interior rooms or spaces, the cost will be £60.00 + VAT

IF 10 OR MORE  MEMBERS ARE INTERESTED IN THIS SERVICE
the charge would be £20 per 360 degree panorama – interior or exterior

Based on this option if a member decides to go ahead and goes for 4 panoramas consisting of an outside view and 3 interior rooms or spaces, the cost will be £80.00 + VAT

In future years additional panoramas can be added or replaced at a similar cost.

Visitor Brochures

We currently have a wide range of full-colour brochures available
including - Finding Birds on Tiree, Wildlife and Heritage Guide,
Tiree Chapels, Out and About on Tiree, A Visitor's Map, Loch Bhasapol, Loch 'a Phuil - if members would like copies of these for their visitor accommodation please ring the number below.
